The thunder roared and the sky turned black as she looked at me. Then she howled so loudly that my ears started ringing and then the forces of nature came together as one to create the darkest monster. The wolf turned towards the monster. It all happened so quickly. The figure glared at me and within an instant, it jumped at me and scraped my eye. I couldn’t see from all of the blood covering my eye but I saw the figure just disappear. I fell to the ground watching as the wolf fed on my flesh and everything turned white.

Love is a powerful thing, but when I look into the mirror, I don’t see a girl that deserves it. In fact, all I see is a dead girl waiting for the light of day to appear; to then fall again as it did yesterday, and years before that. Only tomorrow, it will not come up again. I will die again as I did yesterday and years before that. I am just not meant to be a human, let alone be loved…
